My name is Rebecca Mendoza. I was born and raised on the Wirral,a small peninsula across the water from Liverpool, and have always had a huge enthusiasm for theatre and television.

When I was younger auditioning for theatre schools was hard. My weight was always an issue. Some schools thought I was too big and that I would never work. Thank god I found Italia Conti.

I trained from the age of 20 for three years in Musical Theatre at Italia Conti Academy and landed my first job in the February of my third year. 

​

I am now an aspiring plus size/body confident model alongside acting. I am on a upwards path to achieving my dreams. 

​

I have learnt to love myself the way I am and taught myself to become the best version of myself that I can be. Beauty doesn't just come in one form but many. It is about time the world accepted that.
